Mrs Elena Dimitriou
Elena completed her nursing education in September 2010, graduating from the Cyprus School of Nursing and subsequently from the Cyprus University of Technology gaining both a Diploma and Degree in Adult Nursing.
As a Registered Nurse she has previously worked at “Melathron Agoniston EOKA” for two years, caring for rehab patients experiencing mobility difficulties following stroke, chronic disease of the Central Nervous System, or trauma.
She also worked for the A & E Department of Paphos General Hospital for a further two years where she had the opportunity to care for different types of patients, including emergencies, and managed to develop skills and abilities in procedures further expanding her knowledge in nursing.
Gaining experience has always been a driving force in Elena’s nursing life, and this led her to the UK’s NHS. Working in a challenging and completely new health system in a multicultural country defined her as the nurse she is today.
In May 2018 Elena joined the Limassol Cardiology Practice team as a resident Practice Nurse, providing nursing input during examination sessions such as ECG, stress exercise testing, Holter monitoring and ECHO. Nursing support is provided to the medical staff and our patients, offering education with an aim to improve our patients' quality of life. She is also responsible for administrative duties and patient hospitality.
Elena is a registered nurse, holder of a license to practice, and an active member of the Association of Nurses and Midwives of Cyprus.
